In a potentially good setting on a river bank opposite the town, but while we were there noisy building work across the river. Tiny pitches, riverside ones noisy, completely inadequate number of wcs, which were at most times pretty discusting,as was the cassette emptying point. Dirty water on the floor running everywhere. A shame, as the owners/managers were really. friendly. In our opinion not tobe recommended.

A lovely site. Some pitches under the trees. Great reception with a snack bar, good food and drinks. Great walks along the river and quite a few restaurants across the river. Fairly short walk to the village which has a couple of shops and bars. highly recommended.

a beautiful campsite in the middle of the country side. staff are super and speak English. the site has a range of pitches all beautiful. there is a bar and little cafe. this one is worth a visit and on the banks of a river. you won’t go wrong.

Fantastic site with river location and within walking distance of village. Brilliant staff, great bar and snack bar. Highly recommended!

Once again Ludovic and Sandy made sure we enjoyed our experienced at Le Vey. The campsite has a lovely location and its overall ambience and amenities offer superb value. Whilst this is not a campsite for those seeking sophistication, the staff are friendly and helpful, the facilities clean and well maintained and wi-fi reception at the office area excellent and free. The nearby village Clecy, is typical Swiss Normandie and has a fine boulangerie, butcher and small grocery. Les Rocher des Parcs is a unique caravan site.

quirky site a little gem friendly welcome we didnt pre book just turned up with a dog couldnt be more welcoming- excellent location with lovely bars/ restaurants across the river - the village is walking distance and quirky - worth a visit

We had a short but enjoyable stay here and had no problem finding the site on approaching from the D562 and then finding the reception.
We were welcomed by a very pleasant owner and shown to our pitch opposite the riverside pitches.
The pitch was small but adequate for our large caravan, canopy and car but would not accomodate a large awning.
Toilets & showers were clean. The fresh water supply is at the motorhome waste disposal point and the hosepipe left on the floor so very unhygenic. The electric supply was behind a large hedge so difficult to reach.
The few riverside pitches are very close together and if all taken, other campers can\'t get access to the river front.
There are several restaurants on the opposite side of the river that overlook the site but we were not disturbed by these.
During our stay there were parties of youngsters camping at the site but they were very well behaved and again we were not disturbed by them.
For the active amongst us, there are some lovely walks and cycling routes along with watersports and rock-climbing.
With some improvements to pitches and space to sit by the river this could be a lovely site. We would certainly return.

Came to stay for a week and ending up staying nearly 2 weeks. Lovely area for walking, owner supplied 6 walking maps for us, 4 of them from the campsite. Toilets are not big enough when the site is full but lots of hot water in the showers and kept very clean. Had a lovely river pitch with lots of activity on the water. Although there are restaurants on the other side of the river we didn’t hear noise from them at all. Village is under mile away and has a bakery and butchers and small shop. The campsite owners are lovely and extremely helpful. We would return here.

Disappointment! First of all, the overgrown entrance and roadway into the campsite made it hard to find the Reception. This was in a large open sided building with lots of seating, rather a strange set-up. Pitch next to the river allocated (most pitches too small for a 7 metre camper) but electricity supply across the road through a hedge. Although sounding good, the pitch was overlooked by restaurants across the river. Canoeists (youth group) were particularly noisy and restaurant staff chatted well into the night with their voices carrying. Woken early by music from one of the site\\\'s chalets and people going off to work, from the campsite. Two toilet blocks, one was okay, the other very dated (one look was enough not to use it). Did not eat at the campsite. Went to find a drink at bar but door was closed with a note owners gone home, ring if anything needed. Didn\\\'t ring!! Idyllic situation but not living up to its potential. Would we go back? No.
