Still an excellent site, close to beach and near town. Arrived 1 October expecting restaurant to be open but it\'s closed. No bread service. But the pool is open!
Will come here again.

There are many other sites near Concarneau but this was the only one within walking distance of the town.
Having been to Brittany before we did not bother to pre book any site and were surprised that this site was almost full when we arrived at 11am in September. We were offered a choice of 6 pitches all of which were quite small but we found one that just accommodated our 7.5m caravan, awning and car. There are a mix of pitch sizes on site so it’s down to the luck of the draw. If I come here again I will pre book to ensure a larger pitch.
There was a high turnover of camper vans every day and the site was full every night in late August/ early September.
The site is well signposted but when you arrive at the entrance it can be mistaken for access to a farmyard rather than a touring site. Once you’re in it’s fine but there are some tight turns.
A water tap is shared between 2 pitches but you’ll have to walk to the motorhome service point to empty your grey waste tank.
We found the site to be very peaceful. If you listen hard you can hear the occasional motorbike but apart from that it’s quiet and people tended to go to bed early.
The toilet block looks to have been refitted quite recently to a high standard. It is well maintained and clean.
There is a good bar and restaurant on site. We enjoyed the ‘moules et frite’ night.
It’s a 20 minute walk into Concarneau along a very pleasant path. Concarneua itself was full of shops, bars and restaurants and very pleasant. There are many walks in the area and interesting towns to visit including Pont Aven.
All staff were very pleasant and most spoke good English.
Very happy to recommend.

This was our 2nd visit to this site, this time it was busy due to it being in the French holidays. Nevertheless the site is still fantastic with friendly staff, sizeable pitches and in a great location within walking distance to the old town and the beach. The toilet facilities are modern and clean & the pool is great. Didn’t try the bar or restaurant this visit, but the view and atmosphere appeared to be just as good as last time. My only criticism is the lack of space to stop while checking in.

If using satnav suggest address rather than coordinates. we went round the inner town twice before it clicked! Entrance easy in 6.5mtr motorhome, might be tricky for larger caravans as bends tight and some pitches restricted in size. Good facilities, modern and clean and great views over the bay from the bar terrace and swimming pool. Easy access on paths to both town and beach. would come again out of season.

Great site. Best toilet facilities we’d encountered on our tour of Brittany in 2022. 20-25 minute walk into Concarneau from coded gate at bottom of site. We took the coast road back to site which took about an hour. Pitch was level and didn’t require ramps with hedge between adjacent pitches. Some pitches had fantastic view of the sea.

Lovely site. Clean and well maintained facilities. Restaurant has limited choice but very good. Only gripe was we used our ACSI card for the first time ( having had one for 3 years and not been able to use due to Covid etc. ).If you take the path to Concarneau which exits through a gate at side of site. Don\'t try to follow supplied map/directions as confusing. Just go thru the gate, 50 yards down hill then follow \"Centre Ville\" signpost. Then follow your nose. You cross a couple of road areas then go down a path that looks like an old railway line which has overhead arches. You come out at main quayside area just up from the old walled citadel which shouldn\'t be missed. You can return via the picturesque coast road but this is a fair bit further.

We were very lucky to get a pitch on this site, and we were not expecting it to be so busy. Our welcome buy the receptionist was very friendly and after checking in was told to walk around and pick a pitch and report back. Of the 8 pitches available only 4 were big enough for our 7.5 m caravan. On most pitches you will need levelling blocks, a Motor Mover would also be an advantage. As has been said in other reviews the Beach and Town are quite close and we found the walk along the headland very nice. The Bar and Restaurant didn\'t seem to have much of a menu but the little Café/ Restaurant on the roundabout at the end of the road did. Because the weather was so good we stayed 2 weeks and would stay again. My advice would be to book or call ahead as this is a very popular Campsite.

Easy to find alone Cote signs West of town.Stunninp and and nice jCuzi eith sea view.
Toilets mainly modern.
Concarneau interesting small town with Ville Close\'.Beach open lots of rocks pools and seaweed at low tide.
15 mins walk direct down path not road..but at first not easy to follow.At bottom of hill stay on path until steps..go past all path track junctions until steps on rhs cross through parking until path takez hou up hill past scholl play /sports centre
Cross road into car park with height barriers..then loom for green cycle track passing over residential road into what looks like old railway track..under arches and eventually emerge by harbour
or..follow coast to centre lovely walk on edge of sea mostly..but takes 40 mins.
Lovely site location and pool..will be back!

Stayed for 2 nights (fri/sat), nice site with good facilities. Bar and restaurant open in may, unlike other sites we’ve stayed at. It was a busy weekend with a cycle event in town but it was still quiet overnight. We would definitely recommend this site in its own right, not just for its proximity to Concarneau.
